Richard Sharpley

 Po maturitě na Sheffield University, Richard strávil 8 let v prodeji a marketingu v sektoru profesionálního fotografování. Poté strávil čtyři roky budováním kariéry v žurnalistice před dokončením MSC cestovního ruchu na Strathclydy University, následně získal doktorský titul PhD na Lancaster University.

Jeho akademická kariéra začala v Luton University, následovala pozice na University of Northumbria a University of Lincoln (profesor Cestovního ruchu / vedoucí oddělení cestovního ruchu a rekreace). V roce 2007 začal jako profesor cestovního ruchu vyučovat také na Lancashire Business School.

  • 2006: Projekt: návštěvnická anketa zaměřená na zemědělství a venkov Lincolnshirské zájmové skupiny.
  • 2004: Konzultace projektu: iniciativy tržních měst, ERYC / LEADER (fáze 1)
  • 2004: Konzultace projektu: Průběžné hodnocení Hadriánova valu v rámci cestovního ruchu programu partnerství SRB.
